Mission: (LVSG) is a community-based organization that utilizes the services of trained volunteers to provide free, high-quality reading, writing and English language programs to adults, both American and foreign born, for the purpose of enabling them to acquire the literacy skills necessary to achieve personal and occupational goals. LVSG believes that access to literacy education is essential to sustaining community-wide aspirations of strengthening families, enabling parents to participate in the education of their children and ensuring access to opportunities for economic advancement.
